Short Tours

We understand that not everyone has the time to spend forever exploring which is why our short tours offer the perfect solution. Our itineraries can take you on a whirlwind visit of the sights of the area or more specific or themed activities depending on what suits you best.

Here are some of our favourite short tours, none of which are longer than seven days.

Manali-Keylong-Sarchu-Manali – 3 Days/2 Nights

  • Day 1: Manali-Keylong (120km, 6-7 hours)

    After breakfast, we head off for Keylong. En-route, we will visit the Rohtang Pass (3980m) and then through the picturesque landscape surrounding the Chandra River before reaching Tandi, which is the convergence of Chandra and Bhaga Rivers. We will spend the night in Keylong (3350m) at a local guest house.
  • Day 2: Keylong-Sarchu (102km, 5-6 hours)

    Havign eaten, we will head to our camp at Sarchu which involves driving over Baralachala Pass (4891m). The night will be spent in one of our Swiss Tents and you will have the evening free to explore the local area.
  • Day 3: Sarchu-Manali (220km, 10 hours)

    We will have an early start for our return to Manali via the Baralacha Pass, Jispa, Keylong and the Rohtang Pass.

Manali-Keylong-Pattan Valley-Manali – 3 Days/2 Nights

  • Day 1: Manali-Keylong (120km, 6-7 hours)

    After breakfast, we head off for Keylong. En-route, we will visit the Rohtang Pass (3980m) and then through the picturesque landscape surrounding the Chandra River before reaching Tandi, which is the convergence of Chandra and Bhaga Rivers. We will spend the night in Keylong (3350m) at a local guest house.
  • Day 2: Keylong-Pattan Valley-Keylong (110km, 5-6 hours)

    We will head from Keylong to tirloknath and Udaipur (Pattan Valley). On this route we will be able to visit the local temples and also walk up to Miad Valley. Upon our return to Keylong, we will also try and visit the Shishur and Yarlang Monasteries, time dependent. Once more, we will spend the night at a local guest house.
  • Day 3: Keylong-Manali (120km, 6-7 hours)

    After breakfast, we start the drive back to Manali. On the way, we will have the chance to trek to Khardung Monastery (3 hour trek), a small monastery set in the mountains. Arrival in Manali will be in the evening.

Manali-Parvati Valley-Manali – 3 Days/2 Nights

  • Day 1: Manali-Kasol (82km, 3 hours)

    We start with the drive to Naggar where we will visit Naggar Castle and Roerich Art Gallery and Museum before making our way to Kais Monastery, the biggest in the Kullu area. There is also the opportunity to do the Bijli Mahadev Trek (3 hour trek), to visit a Shiva Temple and enjoy the views of the Chanderkani Pass, Kullu and Parvati Valleys. Our night at Kasol will be spent at a local guest house.
  • Day 2: Kasol-Manikaran-Kasol

    After breakfast, we will drive to Barsaini where we can take part in an hour long trek to Pulga Village (2895m), a place surrounded by open pastures and tea plantations. Afterwards, we head to Manikaran which is famous for the hot springs around the town and there are also many Sikh and Hindu temples and gurdwaras, making it a popular pilgrimage site. Our accommodation will be in a local guest house.
  • Day 3: Kasol-Manali (82km, 3 hours)

    After breakfast we will return you to Manali.

Manali - Nagini - Manali – 3 Days/2 Nights

  • Day 1: Manali-Nagini

    We start with the drive to Naggar where we will visit Naggar Castle and Roerich Art Gallery and Museum before making our way to Kais Monastery, the biggest in the Kullu area. There is also the opportunity to do the Bijli Mahadev Trek (3 hour trek), to visit a Shiva Temple and enjoy the views of the Chanderkani Pass, Kullu and Parvati Valleys. In the evening, we will arrive at Nagini for our overnight stay in a local guesthouse.
  • Day 2: Nagini-Great Himalayan National Park-Nagini (full day trekking)

    After breakfast we will drive you to the Great Himilayan National Park which is home to a fantastic array of wildlife, plant species and landscapes. There are various trekking routes for you to enjoy and you will have the whole day to explore the park. We will then return to Nagini in the evening to stay in the guesthouse once more.
  • Day 3: Nigini-Kullu-Manali (95km, 3 hours)

    We will first drive to Kullu which is famous for its beauty and majestic, forest shrouded hills. White water rafting is also available here for adrenalin enthusiasts. After, we will continue to Manali.

Sightseeing from Manali – 4 Days/3 Nights

  • Day 1: Manali

    Upon your arrival in Manali we will check you into a local hotel before embarking on a tour of the town. This will include seeing the Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monastery, the Club House, Vashist Temple and hot water springs and Manu Rishi Temple.
  • Day 2: Rohtang Pass

    We start off today by heading to Nehru Kund before progressing to the Solang valley which is a popular ski slope and home to many adventure activities. Afterwards, we will visit the picturesque Kothi and Gulaba Camp before stopping at the breathtaking Rahla Falls. Next, we will stop at Marhi for refreshments before seeing the glacier at Rani Nala and finally reaching the Rohtang Pass (3978m) from which we will see some incredibly majestic views. We then return to spend the night in Manali.
  • Day 3: Naggar

    Today's excursion will take us to Naggar, the old capital of Kullu. Our visits will include the ancient Shiva temple Jagatsukh temple, Naggar Castle (where you can get some excellent views from the balcony), Roerich Art Galley and the beautiful Jana Waterfall which is located nearby to a small village with a little shop which serves up local dishes. We then retun to spend the evening in Manali.
  • Day 4: Manikaran

    After breakfast we will head towards Manikaran where we can visit the Patlikuhal Emporium which sells quality local handicrafts, the small cave shrine and Vaisho Temple, the Angora Rabbit Farm where there are also angora shawls for sale, the stunning Kasol Valley which is studded with charming local villages and finally Manikaran, famed for the hot water springs which are found here. Afterwards we will return you to Manali.
